Wendy graduated from the University of Gloucestershire in 2013 with a degree in BSc Honours Sports Therapy.
Since opening the clinic she has expanded her clinical knowledge and skills by treating clients of all ages and backgrounds, from young athletes to active older generations.
To complement her clinical experience, Wendy has worked closely with several sports clubs in Swindon. This has included providing pitchside support for Swindon College Old Boys rugby team, Swindon Wildcats and the Wilts & Glos Police Rugby squads.
Wendy provides support at Royal Wootton Bassett RFC, providing pitchside treatment on a matchday, as well as managing long-term player injuries in the clinic. Regular services here include care of injuries, player rehabilitation, treatment of soft tissue damage, massage and mobilisations.
Wendy is a keen runner and tennis player and enjoys weight training at the gym, all of which provides a good understanding of how frustrating injuries can be to the mature athlete.
Megan has always had an interest in a wide range of sports, with a growing interest in rugby since her time at universit where she learned the importance of a hands-on approach to assessment and treatment.
She is keen to help people improve from injury and manage pain, with empathy, care and through patient education.
In her personal time, Megan enjoys riding horses and was able to explore this passion with sports therapy while carrying out her dissertation, which was based on core strength in relation to lower back pain within the horse-riding community.
During her time at Hartpury, Megan worked within a number of sports at a range of levels, including football, golf, and rugby. This experience helped her develop a well-rounded view of the challenges and barriers people face during their recovery while competing in sport at various levels.
